Condition & grading
- We buy Lightly Played (LP) or better only. Cards graded Moderately Played, Heavily Played, or Damaged are not accepted as part of a bulk order.
- We do not differentiate between Near Mint and Lightly Played — both are paid at the same bulk rate. There's no premium for NM.
- Cards must be smoke-free and free of water damage. Any card showing evidence of either will be pulled from the count.
- Stamped, signed, or altered cards are graded as Damaged and are not accepted.
- Grading is at our discretion. A card you consider Lightly Played may be assessed differently on arrival and we hold ourselves to a strict standard. Anything found below LP is removed from the total; if that changes the order enough to matter, we'll follow up before finalizing anything.
Language
- Bulk rates apply to English-language cards only. We are not currently buying foreign-language cards as part of bulk orders.
- If foreign-language cards are included in a submission, we reserve the right to discount those cards up to 75% of the standard bulk rate, or to return them at the sender's cost.
Sorting
- Bulk should be sorted by rarity (commons/uncommons, rares, mythics) to qualify for the listed rates. Unsorted bulk is purchased at the lowest applicable rate for its category.
- Cards should face the same direction and right-side up. Orders that require us to re-sort or re-orient cards may be discounted up to 20% of the assessed value to cover the extra handling time.
Duplicates & large lots
- Orders with an unusually high concentration of duplicate cards or full playsets of low-demand sets may be declined or offered at a reduced rate.
Counterfeits
- Please take care to ensure no counterfeit cards are included in your submission before shipping. See our guide to spotting counterfeit MTG cards for how to check.
- If a suspected counterfeit is found, we treat the entire lot as suspect and will return the whole shipment rather than sorting out and purchasing the remainder.
- Return shipping in this case is at the sender's cost. We're happy to point out which card(s) triggered the concern so it doesn't happen again on a future order.
General
- We reserve the right to decline any bulk order that doesn't meet these guidelines.
- These guidelines describe our standard practice and may be updated from time to time.
This page outlines how we evaluate and price bulk submissions. It's a description of our process, not a formal contract. If you have questions about a specific order, reach out before shipping anything and we'll sort it out together.
